This is everything I have sold since 2008 — over 6,000 Japanese natural stones, knives, razors and kitchen tools. I keep every page here, with the original photos and the description I wrote at the time.

I do this for two reasons. People find a stone name in an old forum thread and want to know what it actually was — the mine, the hardness, the size. And customers who bought from me years ago come back to look up their own stone again.

Nothing here is for sale. Mines close, stones run out, and some makers stop working, so most of it will not come back. But the notes still help you understand what a Nakayama Kiita, an Ozuku Asagi or a Shoubudani Suita looks like in the hand.
