Aiiwatani is not something i get often. Located north for Kyoto along with Takashima
Now i know why so many confused Aiiwatani with Nakayama stones, they act pretty much the same and feel super smooth
Produce some of Harder and finer stones that is very fast.
This one is a Razor finisher that is very hard and super fine
I will say it act same as Nakayama kiita
Very hard to find stone perfect like that :) Also very uniform !
This one can also be used on knives for Ura or for ultra fine finish !! Not easy to get mirror kasumi finish but on this one it is possible with some practice
