Water quenched Blue 2 steel Honyaki forged by Kenichi Shiraki in Sakai
It is JNS first baldes from Sakai by Jikko witch is very old company in Sakai and is very good at quality control, i also like them because of the finish that is super similar to Sanjo knives
Very easy to maintain and polish with natural stones if you choose so !
Hamon can be brought out much more with Uchigomori finger-stones or Kiita finger-stones
I really Like Blue 2 steel for Honyaki blades, first it is bit less reactive and i thing it holds edge much longer then white steel do
Also i think if it is water quenched it is bit easier to sharpen and much more crisp witch i like a lot
